Tenants: What Happens Next?

If you apply for a property through us, here’s how the process works:

Property Search & Viewing

Browse our available properties and book a viewing through us.

Application

If you’d like to move forward, you’ll complete a tenant application form.

We’ll ask for details such as employment, income, and previous landlord references.

Referencing
-
We carry out full checks (credit, employment, affordability, and previous landlord) to make sure everything is in order.

Offer Confirmation

Once references are approved, we’ll confirm with the landlord.

The landlord makes the final decision.

Tenancy Agreement
-
We will prepare the tenancy agreement (usually an Assured Shorthold Tenancy).

You and the landlord will then sign it directly.

Deposit & Rent
-
You’ll pay the tenancy deposit (normally up to 5 weeks’ rent) and first month’s rent to us.

We pass these to your landlord, who is responsible for protecting your deposit in a government-approved scheme.

Move-In & Handover
-
Once everything is complete, we hand the tenancy over to your landlord.

From this point on, your landlord will manage the tenancy, including rent payments, property maintenance, and repairs.
